I am an artist living and working in the West Highlands of Scotland. I have been creating artwork my whole life in and out of education and have developed technical skills through university studies. I became passionate about the unique natural and architectural heritage of the British isles during university where I achieved a first class honours degree.

My move to Scotland so far has been an incredible artistic journey. Residing in a remote part of the country has allowed me to appreciate untouched natural beauty and develop a new perception of light and perspective. I hope to encapsulate the atmosphere of the ever-changing rugged scenery that the West coast presents. I use oil paint to create intense depth of colour in my work.

My studio is based in Otter Ferry on the shores of Loch Fyne.

My work is currently being displayed in the following galleries:

The Atelier Gallery (Edinburgh)

Tighnabruaich Gallery (Tighnabruaich)

Stable Gallery (Inveraray)

`I have followed Becca`s progress in her painting journey for some years now. From those initial tentative steps in understanding the disciplines of drawing and painting technique, she has now reached a point where the work here demonstrates a very special maturity and recognisable individual style. Her observational skill and appreciation of tonal value and textures are realised in some stunning recent examples of her work.

I am sure there will be further fascinating developments  in her output as she hones her skills in the coming months and years. I wish her well in this exciting period in her career.`
